reviews
Chris Bush’s audacious production, performed simultaneously by the same cast across three theatres, intertwines comedy, romance and political rage to dazzling effect
The Guardian 4*
Janet Bird’s fabulous set has his office stuffed with a typical, profuse clutter of decades past, an authentic jumble of boxes, box files, loo-rolls, lamps, hoover and discarded bric-a-brac that almost buries the desks. Wonderfully, sheets of paperwork dangle, twirling to infinity and beyond through the space above the set
Mature Times
Again the set is superb, Janet Bird cramming the factory office with boxes, files, toilet rolls, a Henry cleaner and every other odd bit of detritus you could think of.
Whatsonstage 4*
Robert Hastie's direction of Paper leans much more into realism, which is aided by Janet Bird's equally impressive and detailed design.
